Portfolios are longer assignments (They should take about an hour.) that need to be submitted in a drop box in the lesson. They may be done on paper and then a picture may be taken of the paper and the picture may be submitted (If you don't have a camera, use the Camera app on your laptop.), or may be done using a computer program such as Word, Excel, or AutoDesk Sketchbook. Look here for special instructions and help files and video recordings.
Unit 2 Exponential FunctionsThis portfolio assignment explores the concept of exponents and applies them to growth and decay situations. Exponents represent repeated multiplication. The curriculum has you doing three tasks. I'm actually only going to have you do the first two. The two videos below explain and demonstrate, step-by-step, what I'd like you to do. Remember, this is not a case of just watching the video and taking notes. Use your own numbers and examples and calculate your own unique results. Do your work on paper. Photograph your work and submit the picture in the drop box.
